Every year we create the Everthine Look Book, a collaboration with Chelsea from Everthine, Upstyle hair and makeup, and photographer Cara from Totman Co. who shot the day at a venue that inspires us. This year, Chelsea chose the Dye House in Providence. The palette and the venue felt clean and modern without feeling forced, a timeless look that works beyond trends. I collaborated on the arch with my friend Marnie from Ferna and Flora, combining all our favorite seasonal elements at the end of October.
These collaborations are the most special to me because there is little to no push and pull in the creative process. We each bring ideas and execute them fully, adapting naturally if one element is not available or leaning into another hue or moment when inspiration leads. This is the same approach I aim to create with my clients by building trust and encouraging open collaboration.
This shoot remains one of my favorites. I spent the days before the shoot in a field of dahlias picking before the first frost while Marnie shared photos of orchids we planned to include. Grounded moss pieces framed the models in a sun-drenched, open space. Soft hints of yellow and pale pink from heirloom mums added delicate color, and a playful bar piece on the console titled “flowers” en masse brought a touch of whimsy.
