Maddie’s October wedding at Troutbeck left no stone unturned. From the start, she, Kevin, and the team at Katy Day Events were intentional about finding the right balance by bringing in seasonal October tones set against whites, creams, and ivory to keep things fun, elegant, and not overly moody. The energy of the weekend was full of joy, and the design reflected that spirit from start to finish. The floral palette included heirloom mums, unique button varieties, and an all-lisianthus cake, with thoughtful floral touches layered throughout the day. One favorite behind-the-scenes detail was my team and I hand-patinating the brass compotes to give each arrangement a beautifully aged finish.
