Connecticut Wedding Floral Inspiration: Keri and John’s Summer Palette at Brotherhood Winery

Wedding Florals

Keri and John’s wedding at  Brotherhood Winery offered a canvas that was perfect for the late soft summer August vibe. From the moment Keri shared her vision on our discovery call, I knew we were synced! With the florals as one of her top priority wedding items, setting the tone for her wedding day, our collaboration flowed.

Connecticut Wedding Floral Inspiration: The Summer Color Palette

Keri’s love for soft yet saturated summer colors lent itself to an elevated design while remaining unfussy, without the heaviness that can often be found in dense arrangements. The gentle pastels—a palette drawn from those soft end-of-summer hues—were brought to fruition by balancing local offerings and a carefully curated order with my suppliers.

Keri’s Bouquets: The Focal Point

Keri’s bouquet was the cornerstone of our floral planning. I felt so excited to craft a vibrant bouquet that incorporated delicate pastels but still but still spoke to the seasonality of summer. The vision for the maids’ bouquets unfolded naturally: supporting pieces that would enhance Keri’s own without competing for attention. Each maid’s bouquet mirrored the color of their dress and together, they created a look that was both visually comforting and distinct.

What Made the Collaboration Successful

During our Zoom creative call, Keri’s trust was crucial. We focused on details: bud vase centerpieces with votives, lush compote centerpieces with stems in wine bottle table numbers. We smoothly transitioned ceremony florals to the head table, consolidating for impact. Creative freedom led to adjustments that surpassed expectations and turned potential afterthoughts into impactful moments, playing off the natural light and stonewall at the venue, producing some of my favorite images of the day.

What Would Florals Like These Cost?

If you admire the atmosphere, tone, and narrative woven into Keri and John’s event, and you aim to infuse your own day with a similar essence, consider their full-service floral experience for 160 guests. Budget between $8,000 to $8,500 to achieve this, encompassing staffing and delivery. This comprehensive cost ensures meticulous attention to detail in bringing your vision to life. From staffing to delivery, every element is thoughtfully orchestrated to convey your unique story.
